'Float Away’ by Akade and Claire Frances releasing on 19th March 2021
Akade and Claire Frances collaborated from opposite sides of the globe to create the airy dance-pop single 'Float Away' (releasing on March 19th, 2021), which is about withdrawing from the mundane and routine. Throughout 2020, the world has yearned for relief from the pandemic, and music has provided it for millions. As a result, turn up the volume and drift forward.
When you are the first to initiate something new in your power pact region, it feels fantastic. Akade (real name Amit Kadel) is the first artist from Kolkata to achieve success in the electronic dance music industry. He'd always been intrigued with music and wished to learn how to do it himself. It started as a hobby and turned into a passion. Akade's perseverance and commitment to his job have paid off. He is now a victorious music producer and DJ. He has shared stage with DJ Snake, Martin Garrix, KSHMR & more international EDM acts.
Claire Frances is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who started writing songs at the age of twelve. She was born in the United Kingdom, raised in Switzerland, and has Irish ancestors, but she isn't your traditional singer-songwriter. Frances' folk-pop music is fresh and unique, with haunting melodies and heartfelt lyrics influenced by her varied life experiences. Since launching her debut EP in 2018, Claire has been hard at work honing her craft as a songwriter and establishing herself in the London indie-pop scene.
Their music partnership would be incredible to see in this pop song because they are very creative, hardworking, and one-of-a-kind individuals. ‘Float Away’ has also been selected by BBC Music Introducing (The South) and exclusively premiered on BBC Radio Surrey & BBC Radio Sussex on 10th March 2021 as ‘Track Of The Day’.
